This year, we decided to perform the entire song in Austrian dialect to represent our language and culture in a very authentic way.
Our song is about something everyone knows: moments when life simply feels difficult. Whether it happens at school, at home, or with friends during free time, everybody experiences situations where sadness, stress, or negative thoughts take over.
But there is one thing that always helps:
MUSIC.
“Headphones on, world off.”
Music has the power to calm us down, sort out our thoughts, and push negative feelings away for a moment. It creates a place where we can breathe, feel understood, and be ourselves again.
At the same time, music connects people. It brings friendships, creates emotions we share together, and reminds us that nobody is truly alone.

ReplyDeleteWir haben zuerst nicht gemerkt, dass ihr auf deutsch singt. Aber wir sind ja auch keine Österreicher, sondern von vor dem Arlberg aus den habsburgischen Stammlanden. Da sind unsere Ohren mehr an den alemannischen Akzent gewöhnt... Wir haben auch unseren Akzent und gute Ideen, aber so gute Ideen wie Ihr glaub' ich doch nicht ganz.
