CROATIA - Mamica su štrukle pekli

Hello from Primary School prof. Franje Viktora Šignjara  in Virje, Croatia!

For this year's Schoolovision project, students prepare  a traditional folk song 'Mamica su štrukle pekli' (Mother Was Baking Štrukli).

This song Ttrough a humorous and cheerful tone, it celebrates everyday life, the spirit of home, and togetherness.

The lyrics hide humorous situations characteristic of the rural environment: An accident in the kitchen: The song begins with a comical scene in which the mother bakes štrukli, but forgets them on the fire, causing them to burn and she to cry.

Enjoy in our song!

To avoid misunderstandings, grandmothers are only actors. The student in the green t-shirt at the beginning of the video is our lead singer.

This is a lovely display of everyday life - great storytelling shown here. The children performed their dance routines really well and looked so happy. Well done Croatia from Annagry NS, Ireland.
