ENGLAND - Bristol Pirate

Hello from Bishop Road Primary School in Bristol, England!

For our entry, we have rewritten a traditional Sea Shanty to feature some of our favourite locations across our city. Bristol is a port city and sea shanties are traditional folk songs that play an important part in our history.
Our song is sung by children in Year 3 and nearly 800 people from our school community feature in our video.
We hope our entry puts a smile on your face and makes you want to ‘Way Hey’ along with us!

We thoroughly enjoyed your version of this shanty song. It is such a lively production that highlights the happiness of the children and the excellent actions and choreography really connect with the song. The beautiful scenery certainly adds to the entire piece. Well done England from Annagry NS, Ireland.
