Dear international friends,
We are so grateful to be able to take represent Scotland for the first time in years in this awesome competition. We really can't wait to watch all your videos and listen to the songs you have created.
The few we have watched so far are fantastic! So much talent!
Our entry is a bilingual song called "La paix", which means "Peace" in French. But why French if we live in Scotland?
It's because our French teacher wrote and composed it. As we learnt it and recorded it during our French lessons, it was a perfect opportunity to practise our French in the process. Besides, apart from long-standing historical links, France and Scotland are always tied through their common Celtic heritage, which we hope you'll hear come through in the song.
Anyways! "La paix" is all about spreading love and appealing for peace, which we feel is much needed in today's difficult times.
We hope you like our song, our Scottish landscape and don't hesitate to sing along if you feel like it too!
Thank you so much for listening and having us take part.
Sending love from Scotland! ♥

Am bu chòir dhomh a bhith brònach gu bheil mi a’ tuigsinn Beurla na h-Alba air an telebhisean, ach dìreach leth de na faclan agad? No am bu chòir dhomh a bhith toilichte gu bheil thu a’ seinn sa Fhraingis? Is i Fraingis an cànan as fheàrr leam. La plus belle des langues. Tha fonn glè chòrdach aig an òran agad agus tha e air a sheinn gu math air leth. Bheir sin mòran uairean a thìde de chleachdadh cruaidh. Bravo!
